Who we are.
We are a group of padel enthusiasts who started Padel New Zealand in 2020.
Our focus as an organisation is to support the introduction, promotion and growth of the sport of padel across New Zealand.
Padel New Zealand Society Incorporated was registered with the New Zealand Companies Office in 2020.
We are the governing body for the sport of padel in New Zealand as recognised by the International Padel Federation (FIP).
Our mission.
We want to bring padel to everyone.
Padel is the one of fastest growing sport in the world and there is a reason for that. Padel is a social fun sport, much easier to pick up than many racket sports and it can be played by any age. We want all kiwis to be able to enjoy the sport.
Our mission is to introduce the sport to New Zealand, promote it and assist in the growth through member clubs, coaches and players. We want to make it accessible for all ages and for amateurs as well as professionals.
A long term goal is to be able to host many international tournaments in New Zealand and even send some kiwis to the Olympics (yes, padel will potentially be in the Olympics 2032!).

As a non-profit association, our organisation is made up of 9 volunteers who are passionate about the sport of padel.
